Cheesy Smoked Stuffed Jalapeno

(total cook time 1 Hour and 35 minutes)

Ingredients for 10 servings

Jalapeno (0.5-lb., 0.2-kg.)

The Filling

Cream cheese – ½ cup

Grated cheddar cheese – ¼ cup

Grated mozzarella cheese – ¼ cup

Breadcrumbs – ½ cup

Bacon – ¼ lb.

The Heat

Hickory wood chips

Method

Combine breadcrumbs with cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese in a bowl then mix well.

Cut the jalapenos into halves lengthwise then remove the seeds.

Fill each halved jalapeno with the cheese mixture then wrap the jalapenos with bacon.

Add Hickory wood chips to the Electric Smoker then turn it on.

Set the temperature of the Electric Smoker between 225°F (107°C) and wait until it reaches the desired temperature.

Prepare a water pan then place it in the Electric Smoker.

Arrange the stuffed jalapenos on the Electric Smoker’s rack then smoke for an hour and a half. Rotate the stuffed jalapenos once every 30 minutes.

Once it is done, remove the Electric Smoker then arrange on a serving dish.

Serve and enjoy.
